My total for last weekend was a whopping 9.5K and I actually really liked all the words, to include two scary-hot love scenes.  It was kinda weird writing them while football was on and the hubby about three feet away, yelling at the TV *g*.

Current word count stands at just over 22K.  I think [...]

Superbad (2007)  Um…the title of this flick describes it perfectly…it’s superbad.  And not in a good way.  It wasn’t as if I went into viewing this expecting a lot…and I didn’t get it.   I guess if you’re a 16-20 year old dude, or maybe a bunch of guys sitting around the tube drinking beer, this [...]

This book has been all about head-banging goodness, with my traditional favorites thrown in for good measure, because they put me in the writing mood.  Keep in mind I’m writing about firefighters and a serial arsonist, so they kinda make sense.

Stupify, Disturbed
Click, Click, Boom, Saliva
Side of a Bullet, Nickelback
Higher Ground, Red Hot Chili Peppers
Deify, Disturbed
So [...]

Kicked major bootie this weekend on the word count…got 4K written over Saturday and Sunday, and finished up with an additional 2K on Monday.  Since it was a holiday, I’m counting it as part of the weekend, dammit *g*.

This one book has been a bit different for me because I’m writing at a higher level [...]
